"Cuba con Leche" (coffee with milk) is a collection of original artwork relating to my Cuban heritage and inspired by a nostalgic era of Cuba under the influence of pop art. The name comes from a twist on "cafe con leche", and being that in modern Cuba milk is rather scarce, the name implies the opposite as a metaphor for various things. Every painting has two images: a coffee mug and the island of Cuba depicted in some manner. Titles are random and often consist of one word both in english and spanish making an attempt to cross cultures.
