Dale Zimmerman is an amateur fine art photographer focused on creating contemplative metaphors inspired by the land, water, creatures, and light. His prints are full of detail, color and light. He has developed his vision and craft over many years starting in college with a large format view camera and recently with digital cameras. Dale spends many hours perfecting his prints using techniques adapted from the masters of photography, portraiture, and painting. Since his childhood, he has joyfully explored the mountains, canyons, forests, and coasts. He lives in Los Altos, California with his wife Margaret and their dog Bailey.
