I have lived in this area all of my life. As a child, I lived with my grandfather. We lived in a very small house with no electricity or running water. I was five years old when we finally got electricity. We had oil lamps for light, a wood heater for heating, a wood cook stove for cooking and a well with refreshing cold water. Grandfather worked at a lumber yard and was a farmer. Later, I moved to the city to live with my mother. I finished high school. I began my work career during high school and continued until my retirement in 2007. I met my husband, James, and we were married on March 31, 1972. We have a son, a daughter and three wonderful grandchildren. At the age of twelve, I accepted Christ as my Savior and have been active in church ever since. I enjoy writing.
