About

I'm a multi-media artist living in the Sumter National Forest of South Carolina. My studio is housed in a 200 year old farm house on 9 acres. My partner & I are slowly renovating the house and planting the land. It was a tree farm, but our goals are to plant fruit trees, a victory garden and loads of flowers. My first book being published is Monticello Gardens where we have had much inspiration and the basis of our plantings. I have also brought bamboo and orchids from Florida. What I will do with them is still a question, but for now they add to the landscape & our enjoyment.

Areas of Expertise

I have painted all of my life in all mediums. I consider myself a surrealist artist but choose to paint portraits & landscapes when so moved. I also have made 8mm, 16mm, and video format films. Some are animated & others are with actors. I have found that sometimes my paintings have more narrative than can be said with a single canvas.
