Ramón Domínguez Neri was born in México City, far from the ocean, in 1974 and fell in love with marine life when reading a children´s marine life book at the age of eight.

At the age of twelve, a documentary film from the Mexican explorer Ramón Bravo awoke in him a passion for sharks and marine life.

As a self-taught photographer he has found a way to capture the beauty and drama of the underwater world and to remind us how much we need the oceans and how much the oceans need us to change the way we interact with them.
