About the Book
The photographs in Bound by Water are exposures made from the Shikoku and Honshu islands and arranged in an interpretation of the constructed stories socially shared about Japan, proliferated through time, as memory.
Rachel Wolfe creates art in the areas of images (photography) and installation (performance). She also works photographing portraits, interiors, editorials and art exhibitions. In her free time, she enjoys hiking outdoors and guiding people people to health and happiness. Born and raised in Illinois, traveled and lived in Japan and California, Rachel is now based in Oslo, Norway, and working worldwide.
