Blurb Strengthens Commitment To Global Expansion
Blurb, the creative book publishing service, today announced it has implemented new shipping options and ecommerce features to support the company’s European launch and global expansion. In June, Blurb announced its partnership with a printer in the Netherlands, to better service all customers in the UK and the entire European Union. Continuing Blurb’s commitment to serve global users, the company has added 12 new countries to the list of countries and territories it ships to: Argentina, Brazil, India, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Ukraine. Users from these countries can now create, publish, share, and market professional-quality books. Once ordered, their books will be delivered in 7 to 10 business days.

Blurb’s growing European customer base can now view prices and make purchases in the British pound sterling and the euro. Other currencies will follow at later dates. To better serve the international creative community, Blurb has also introduced bookmaking measurements in metrics. This creates a more seamless experience for Blurb’s global users as they choose from Blurb’s four book sizes and hundreds of book layout options.
To create and publish a Blurb book, users start by downloading Blurb BookSmart® software from the Blurb Web site. Blurb’s BookSmart software is free, runs on a Mac or PC, and offers a wide variety of book layouts created by professional book designers.
